The picture shows the beautiful clothes which Tony brought back from China for the girls. Tony had an eventful return as the people in his office had underestimated the amount of time it would take for him to get back to the international airport of Shanghai. Therefore Tony had a boat ride, train journey, taxi ride, hotel overnight and second taxi journey to get to his plane on time and all on his own with not a word of Chinese. But he made it.

November 04, 2007: Scary stories
This scary face was in our garden on the night of the 31st of October. The huge pumpkin was given to us by our neighbour and carved out by the girls.
Tony has just departed for China at fairly short notice. The passport with the visa came back just in time on Friday.
And this afternoon my vacuum cleaner exploded, shooting flames out of the back, fusing the lights and spreading a terrible burnt electrical smell throughout the house. So that’s an end to housework for the moment. At least that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it.
