The Gong re-visited

Gong certificateOn our recent trip to the UK we were asked about a view of the back of the gong. Well this isn’t it but may do just as well since it is a picture of the certificate which went with it.

January 06, 2008: The Golden Compass

Last week we all went to see the film ‘The Golden Compass’ based on the Philip Pullman trilogy. In his stories people have external souls in the form of an animal companion who stays with you for life. Gwen and I have taken the personality tests to see what daemon (as the external souls are called) would be. Do you think they are right? Gwen is the Snow Leopard and Anne is the Gibbon!

January 02, 2008: The Harrogate Diaries

So here are the video diaries for our pantomime quest. It lasts about 10 minutes.

Latest: If you go to www.youtube.com (not the UK option) and log in using our road name as username and Anne’s maiden name as the password you should be able to see the videos.

I am a bit of a You Tube novice and trying to achieve a balance between letting you see the video and not letting the whole world see it. It seems as though You Tube lets you make a video private but allows you to put it on another website (like this one). However it may only be me who is allowed to see it. The only other option is for me to add your emails to You Tube so that you become my ‘friends’ there but then you would have to sign up also. I don’t think this is risky but I do want to avoid forcing people to sign up to dozens of things. The other option of course is to mark the video as public.
